Kelly A. Morgan

LPCC-S, CEO
Do you have a feeling that you are stuck in your life and dissatisfied with the path you’re on? Are you interested in finding more joy in your life? Kelly A. Morgan, LPCC-S, CEO believes that these common feelings are a sign for you to start exploring and discovering personal growth.

She will delve into the simple, but not an easy way of identifying your behaviors to encourage lasting change. Currently, her main client focus is on adults, couples, and teenagers (14 to 19 years of age).

Kelly Morgan was a yoga instructor for over 10 years and utilizes her experience to offer you breathing and grounding techniques. These practices will help reduce, release, and remove unwanted negative emotions that are stored in the physical body. Together with Kelly, you will discover and establish a clear and concise path to achieving your goals. Your sessions will be specifically tailored to your individual needs to promote healthy growth.

Kelly’s practice at Mindfulness Counseling is rooted in mindfulness, MBCT, cognitive behavioral therapy, gestalt therapy, and existential psychology. She has worked with sexual assault victims at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and has assisted the victims of violent crime groups.

She provides specialized treatment for trauma, including EFT and energy medicine techniques. She takes a non-judgmental approach and has extensive training in couples therapy and OCD.

Break Down Your Barriers and Promote Self-Growth

You will work with her to remove blocks, change any negative thought patterns you have, and begin the inner self-work that is needed for long-lasting life changes. Early experiences shape us and define our relationship to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. By working collaboratively, we will be able to recognize your wounded inner child and the effect it is having on your current life path.

Feelings such as shame, fear, anger, abandonment, and lack of trust can all be rooted in early childhood experiences. While on this journey, you will learn to nurture and comfort your inner child while separating it from your adult self. In each therapy session, Kelly builds your trust by supporting, not shaming, and ultimately validating your life experiences.

Your life’s journey does not always follow straight lines. Negative feelings and experiences can cause your life-lines to become crooked, jagged, or broken, and may leave you feeling as if you’ve reached a dead end. Turning around may not be so simple. Going forward may not be so direct. Perhaps you may need to find a whole new line to walk. At this point, it is good to pause and explore all your options.

My approach to counseling is centered on this journey of self-exploration. I use integrative counseling techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based mindfulness approaches, which can lead you to acceptance and commitment toward a more peaceful and calm way of life.

Whether you experience depression, anxiety, co-dependency, grief, anger, or any other concern, I invite both individuals and couples to enter into a counseling relationship to work toward a better you. I value the counseling relationship, and remain open to all your concerns in a confidential, safe, and professional environment.

I’m a firm believer that rough paths often lead to beautiful places. Perhaps there is a new path that needs to be taken in your life, symbolically from the depths of a valley to the top of a mountain. Accept the challenge, be thankful you’ve begun, go there with someone you can trust, and when you’ve reached the top, behold the beautiful view from above. Your journey begins with a single step.

You might be used to being the one who keeps it together, the reliable one, the thoughtful one, but lately things just feel heavier than they should. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck in the same frustrating patterns, or just not quite feeling like yourself. I work with individuals who are looking for therapy that goes deeper than surface-level coping. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware, but still feel disconnected, burnt out, or unsure how to move forward. At the center of my work is the relationship we build together, helping you understand your patterns and create meaningful, real-life change.

My style is warm, real, and collaborative. I bring my authentic self into sessions (humor included when it fits), and I’m not afraid to gently challenge patterns that aren’t serving you. I draw from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, always tailoring our work to your specific needs and goals.

I believe therapy works best when you’re an active participant in your own life. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel more grounded emotionally, and build tools you can actually use outside of session. If you’re looking for therapy that feels both supportive and productive, we may be a good fit.

Reaching out for support is the first step to an integrative journey we can travel together. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, taxing, and exhausting finding a balance. I admire your courage in finding yourself here. I am delighted to explore this path with you with care, curiosity, and compassion, holding the lantern as we navigate the road ahead. I am confident we will co-create a reality that allows you to thrive.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Art Therapy and Religious Studies from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA and have received a dual master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM. I am currently working towards my Art Therapy and Counseling licensures. I look forward to walking with you on your journey towards wellness, recovery, and health.

I take a Holistic approach when working with clients, working to balance the mind, body, and spirit to find a harmony. Using a strength-based and person-centered approach, I weave Art Therapy into my practice to create a transformational quality in my work. My work ranges from skill building using DBT, CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness practices to alternative healing modalities. I also utilize Gestalt therapy, Ecotherapy, and Jungian approaches, working in a collaborative nature to align you to your highest self. I work diligently to find which modality works best for you, creating a safe space for trauma/emotional processing, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, with experience in multicultural and diversity sensitivities.

What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy is a method of therapy that I have witnessed as a wonderful tool to find insight into the self and situations. It creates a way of processing by externalizing the internal landscape. The use of art-based metaphor can create windows into healing, processing, and expressing the self beyond traditional therapy. We will explore a variety of medias and directives, each tailored to our goals working together. You do not need to be an artist or have any background in working with art media to try Art Therapy! The beauty of Art Therapy is not about the product, but the process of exploration of self through artistic expression.

A few highlights I have background in working with:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • trauma
  • eating disorders
  • self-esteem/self-worth
  • body image
  • coping/regulation skills
  • life transitions
  • stress/time management
  • teenagers, young adults, & adults

In our time together, I work to:

  • create a safe, collaborative space working together as a team
  • find balance in your relationships to others, with yourself, health, and body
  • guiding your understanding of your mental and emotional spaces
  • realign with your spirit

Connect with me to begin working towards your goals and discovering the transformational qualities of Art Therapy and Counseling. I work out of the Chagrin Falls office as well as virtual Teletherapy.

Kaleigh Trowbridge

LPCC

Kaleigh believes that everyone can benefit from therapy and should try it at least once in their life. The reasons behind starting therapy can be life-altering circumstances or periods of uneasy feelings. She believes that many people come into therapy with one thing to work through, and end up leaving with more total clarity about themselves and the interactions around them. Life is complicated and everyone can use a little support at times, and that’s why we're here.

As a Licensed Professional Therapist, her goal is to provide a safe space to support growth, transparency and change. Everyone has different viewpoints, backgrounds and experiences that make us unique in our way of processing, thinking, and feeling. Therefore, Kaleigh pulls techniques from several theoretical orientations, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Person-Centered. She works from an integrated holistic approach, believing that our physical, mental, and emotional well-being is all connected.

Kaleigh has experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, adjustment and behavioral disorders. She has experience working with children, teenagers, and adults from ages 21-72. Hi! I’m Alexis, a licensed professional counselor here at Mindfulness, and hopefully, your new therapist. If you’re reading this, that means you’ve already taken the first step in getting the help you need, and that’s great!

Have you ever wondered why you do the things you do? Or wished you weren’t such a people pleaser. Maybe you’re frustrated that your mental health stops you from doing the things you want. Maybe you want your relationships to be better or figure out a way to end them. Or maybe you just need someone to talk to. If any of that sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.

In our work together, my clients can expect to explore their past traumas and childhoods to better understand their present. Discuss their relationships and how to improve them by learning how to set boundaries and express their needs. Identify cycles and thought patterns that create barriers to change and growth. Ultimately, my clients can expect to gain a better understanding of themselves, what they want in life, and how to get there. Life can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone.

I’m here to support you in your journey of growth and change in a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive environment. It is important to me to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable in my counseling room.

My areas of speciality include:

  • Couples
  • Teens
  • LGBTQIA2S
  • Relationships
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • OCD
  • ADHD
  • Trauma
  • Women’s issues
  • Work and school-related stress
  • Alcohol and substance use

I currently see clients virtually.

“In today’s rush, we all think too much, seek too much, want too much, and forget about the joy of just Being.” — Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now

At times, life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply too much. You may find yourself overthinking, feeling stuck in a life transition, navigating relationship stress, or struggling to feel confident and present in your daily life. Sometimes, even when things look “fine” on the outside, it can still feel difficult internally. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and work with you to explore challenges, build insight, and develop practical tools that support meaningful change.

I use an integrative approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. Sessions are tailored to each individual, with a focus on strategies that can be applied in everyday life. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and commonly support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns.

I am also a certified yoga teacher, which has deepened my appreciation for the mind–body connection and informs my mindfulness-based approach to therapy. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, exploring new cities, reading, catching a movie, and spending time with family and friends. I currently live in Chicago and provide virtual counseling services.

If you’re considering therapy, I’d be happy to connect and see if we might be a good fit.

You do not have to deal with your problems and struggles on your own. Seeking help when you are struggling with your mental health is just as important as seeking help when you are struggling with your physical health. If you are having issues within your relationships, dealing with major changes in your life, having a hard time balancing all of your responsibilities, or just feeling like you are struggling with your mental health and need to talk through it, therapy can help. You likely have many of the answers you seek within yourself, and therapy can help guide you to finding those answers and give you tools to be your best self.

As a therapist, I provide a safe place for people to share their thoughts and feelings without judgment. My therapy approach is client-based, and I utilize different methods to fit my clients specific needs and goals. Jordan Selman

LISW

I work with adult clients navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, depression, and the emotional ups and downs that come with being human.

I take an integrative, relational approach that draws from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based, psychodynamic, and EMDR therapy. The relationship we build together is at the heart of my approach because often times that becomes the most powerful part of therapy.

Together, we’ll uncover what's driving your struggles and build a plan for change that fits your life and goals. Sessions blend reflection, insight, and practical strategies, all in a warm and supportive space. Clients I work with often describe feeling more grounded, self-compassionate, and in tune with their values, relationships, and inner voice.

I offer in-person sessions at the Lakewood office or virtual sessions from the comfort of your home. Feel free to reach out for a 15-minute consult to see if we’d be a good fit!

Sophia Kish

LPC

My name is Sophia, and I am a licensed professional counselor here at Mindfulness. I provide therapy for individuals seeking mental health support or anyone interested in gaining more internal clarity. I believe that people are the experts of their own lives and have the ability to cultivate the life they desire through positive action and lasting change. Therapy can prompt a different way of thinking, provide practical skills to correct long-term patterns, or help clients direct their lives with more purpose.

I offer a welcoming and collaborative space where clients are free to explore, learn, and develop in ways that support their individual growth and development. My clinical approach is holistic and informed mainly by a person-centered approach, existential therapy, mindfulness interventions, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I work with many different individuals and concerns, but my areas of focus include depression, anxiety, existential crises, stress reduction, life transitions, and interpersonal conflict.

I primarily work with adults and adolescents aged 13 and older but am open and able to work with individuals from all walks of life. I look forward to connecting with you. Feel free to contact me at (440) 305-0570 or via email at sophia.mindfulnesscounseling@gmail.com.

I am a graduate of Cleveland State University, where I received my master’s in clinical mental health counseling and my undergraduate degree in communications and psychology. I have experience working in community mental health settings, seeing individuals ranging in age from 5 to 78 years old and dealing with various mental health concerns.

The journey of understanding who we really are and who we are meant to be can feel daunting. Yet it is where we will experience the depths of joy and beauty that life has to offer. As a counselor, I am empathetic, present and attuned to who you are. Sometimes it may mean sifting through painful experiences when you have been hurt, experienced trauma or not been able to truly grieve. In the therapeutic relationship we will work to explore those experiences together.

I utilize an unique approach of mindfulness, sensorimotor psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help you feel more connected to your body and feel more empowered. And, then the focus of our work will be about who you are meant to be. I have worked with individuals facing a variety of challenges including PTSD, complex trauma, attachment and relational issues, life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, and adoption. I work with adults, couples, children ages 9 and up, and families. I have two master's degrees, including one in Mental Health Clinical Counseling from John Carroll University.

I am currently accepting new clients at Cleveland Heights and virtually. You may reach me at lauramorello.mindfulness@gmail.com or (216) 772-3715. I look forward to starting our connection.

Leah Markowitz

LISW, MSW, NBC-HWC

I view therapy as a collaborative journey where you can discover new ways of understanding and connecting with yourself, others, and the world around you.

My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore possibilities, challenge limiting beliefs, heal from past pain, and embrace your own inner truth with confidence. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where you can discover new ways of understanding and connecting with yourself, others, and the world around you.

My work is deeply informed by my journey. Like so many of us, I was socialized in a culture filled with conflicting expectations of what it means to be “good enough” and sought fulfillment from achievement, being in control, and meeting others’ expectations. My family environment was chaotic, which led me to become an expert at disconnecting from my own feelings and needs just to make it through the day. This combination led to a decades-long struggle to find peace and ease within my skin.

For me, true healing arose from integrating mind and body, as the body holds our deepest wounds, habits, and memories. By bringing mindful attention to the body, we can uncover a more complete understanding of our current experience, paving the way for meaningful growth and transformation.

Now, as a licensed clinical social worker and yoga practitioner, I specialize in integrating traditional talk therapy with somatic and body-based techniques to help people reconnect with their bodies, empower them to regulate emotions, and navigate moments of intense stress with greater ease.

My approach is eclectic and holistic, informed by my training as a yoga practitioner, functional medicine health coach, and herbalist. I draw on techniques across approaches, including attachment and polyvagal theories, mindfulness, IFS, Emotion-focused therapy, Depth and archetypal psychologies, CBT, DBT, and trans-personal and existential psychologies. I am trained in EMDR and mindfulness meditation. My therapeutic approach is informed by feminist psychology and Health at Every Size (HAES).

Some of my areas of treatment include trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, attachment issues, relationship concerns, OCD, Borderline Personality Disorder, body image issues, self-esteem, ADHD, sleep disturbances, and emotional regulation.

My work is grounded in seeking a balance between the mind, body, and spirit. The best place to start is from exactly where you are. Together, we will bring movement to stuck places, build trust in your inherent strengths and worthiness, and nurture practices that will help you navigate the ebbs and flows of life.

With specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities, Biz combines compassion, expertise, and sometimes humor to create a safe and comfortable space for her clients. This environment allows them to develop their plans for positive change. She believes that laughter can, at times, be as therapeutic as a breakthrough moment. Biz is well-versed in a wide array of therapy modalities, which she tailors to fit your preferences, needs, strengths, and limitations. All therapies used are person-centered and aimed at guiding you closer to where you want to be in life. In her therapy room, you will always be the expert and the one doing the work to create positive, lasting change.

When she is not in her role as a therapist, Biz enjoys spending time with her family, working on crossword puzzles, and watching True Crime television, podcasts, and reading books. She also loves to bake and finds relaxation in cozying up with a good cookbook or experimenting with new cookie recipes in the kitchen.

Therapy is most effective when the therapist and client work together to build a supportive and trusting partnership. I work with individuals and couples eager to uncover the hidden layers of their inner world—the blind spots inside all of us that keep us stuck and hold old patterns in place. I collaborate with clients to bring awareness to their ability to change and help them rediscover their strengths and integrate them into their daily lives. Together, we work to open up vast potential and create space for new ways of feeling and being to emerge.

I approach therapy through a body-mind lens because I believe that our physical and emotional experiences are deeply interconnected. By examining the environments, families, and belief systems in which we were raised, we gain an understanding of how conditioning shapes our responses, our relationships, and our present and future sense of self. This process is both grounding and liberating, and it opens doors to exciting new possibilities.

I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, mood disorders, chronic pain, addiction, grief, and trauma. I also work with couples and families navigating life changes and the challenges inherent to intimate relationships. My approach is predicated on meeting clients at the level of their emotional experience and shaping our sessions to address their unique needs. I am trained in DEFT (Dynamic Emotion Focused Therapy), as well as cognitive, psychodynamic, shame-sensitive, somatic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed methodologies. Most of all, I emphasize self-reflection and vulnerability as pathways to personal growth.

I am currently accepting new clients at the Cleveland Heights. I also offer virtual appointments. You may email me at allisonlinamen.mindfulness@gmail.com, or by phone at (216) 452-2950.

Feeling frozen or overwhelmed, and it’s getting more difficult to ‘push through’ every day? Have you been feeling less connected to others in your life? I’ve worked with many people who are looking to make change, find motivation, and explore ways to reconnect with who they are. I have helped people suffering from anxiety, depression, and trauma who believe they aren’t enough, or have been putting their energy into helping others for so long, they aren’t sure of who they are now. And I have worked with those looking to discover their full sense of self, understand who they are, and discover what’s valuable and meaningful in their lives.

I offer a non-judgmental, safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, process emotions, identify your values, and work towards what’s really important to you. I use a multifaceted approach of DBT, CBT, ACT, person-centered therapies, and art therapy. I can help you create change and see how fear might block you from moving towards focusing on your needs.

Please contact me for a free consult or to schedule an appointment to explore what changes you'd like to make in your life, identify what's important to you, and develop a sense of empowerment and deeper meaning in your life.

Lisa Allison MSW, Ed.S, LISW, LCSW

Lisa Allison MSW, Ed.S, LISW, LCSW

Hello, I'm Lisa, and I have over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Therapist. I hold a Master's in Social Work from The Ohio State University and an Ed.S. in School Psychology from National Louis University in Chicago. I'm board-certified in both Ohio and Illinois, and I've also been certified as a School Psychologist. My diverse background includes working in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings, as well as schools, hospitals, treatment centers, cancer wellness facilities, and as a consultant. These varied experiences allow me to draw from a rich tapestry of knowledge to best support my clients.

I believe in encouraging and empowering my clients to effectively use their own strengths and skills to improve their lives and relationships. We all have areas that can use a little improvement, and the key is to maximize strengths to compensate for weaknesses. My approach is client-centered, and I utilize several different therapeutic modalities based on what works best for each individual. Building a strong therapeutic relationship and establishing trust are the cornerstones of effective therapy. I see therapists as vehicles to empower and encourage clients, helping them find the validation they need to inspire change and reach their goals.

I am trained in family systems therapy and often incorporate an understanding of family history and generational patterns into my work. However, I also recognize that for some clients, focusing on the here and now with short-term goals can be more practical. I integrate different modalities based on each client's needs and preferences, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, meditation, and my personal favorite—solution-focused therapy. I appreciate that time and money are not unlimited resources for most people, so I aim to help clients accomplish their goals efficiently and effectively.

My expertise includes helping people with a variety of issues, such as mood disorders, relationship concerns, family dynamics, couples counseling, support groups, social skills groups, emotional stress, life and work challenges, academic and school-related concerns, eating disorders, trauma, grief, divorce, loss, cancer, illness support, stress, anxiety and depression.

If you're ready to take the next step towards improving your life and relationships, I would be honored to work with you. Let's embark on this journey together.

Steve Grauel

I believe that every person holds an innate potential for healing and growth. Despite this potential, it can bring challenges that make it hard to access that potential on our own. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore these obstacles and find new paths forward. Together, we can identify the specific stressors and difficulties you’re facing and find therapeutic approaches that resonate with you.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with grief, religious trauma, and ADHD, and have extensive experience supporting clients through anxiety, mood disorders, relational issues, and major life transitions such as divorce or career changes. If you're navigating any of these challenges, I am here to help.

My approach is holistic and collaborative, helping clients explore their thoughts and emotions to foster greater self-awareness. I am especially dedicated to meeting the mental health needs of the LGBTQ+ community and understand the unique challenges this community may encounter, from coming out to facing discrimination. It is my goal to create a safe and affirming space for all my clients.

Dr. Michael Boggs, Psychiatrist

Dr. Michael Boggs, Psychiatrist

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience offering responsive, evidence-based, creative, if needed, outpatient psychiatric medication management for adults and children. I practice a person-centered psychiatry that is kind, warm, and respectful. I am committed to a practice of shared decision-making that blends medical expertise with your lived experience and preferences.

I am licensed to practice in Ohio and surrounding states as well as in the Northeast, where I currently live with my wife and three sons, three cats, two dogs, five horses, and many chickens. When not working, I enjoy spending time gardening and being with my family and pets. We are building a therapeutic animal sanctuary/gentleman’s farm / mental health space on our land.

Acknowledging individual differences and preferences, there is evidence to support that most often people respond best to a combination of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I enjoy working concurrently with therapist teammates at Mindfulness Counseling and generally prefer to provide care in the context of a team-based approach. If you do not currently have a therapist you are working with at Mindfulness or elsewhere, I will probably periodically encourage you to engage in psychotherapy because of this voluminous evidence base.

If you are currently a client at Mindfulness or are well established with a therapist elsewhere and have possible needs with respect to psychiatric medication management, please reach out to Mindfulness Counseling directly to begin the process of scheduling a visit with me.
